CREATING FORM
Just like shirts, a great pair of trousers need to look beautiful and comfortable to wear, as the human body is three-dimensional. At Eminento, each trousers undergo several ‘curve-pressing’ or ‘Kuse-Tori’ process which aims to create a contoured curve on the trousers that follows the shape of the human legs.
CONTOURED FINISHINGS
Zippers that are bigger on one side are utilized on the fly-front. When stitched together it produces a shape that curves naturally inwards to the inseam. This creates a clean-looking front without unwanted, excess drapes.
INTERIOR DESIGNED FOR MOVEMENT
To make trousers that are comfortable when walking, sitting, or even running, attention to details around the side seams are necessary. One example reflected here, the waistband is curved for natural comfort and some ease added to the side hips. Inside, interior waist-pleats are strategically placed at the sides for flexibility to areas where the torso moves the most.
FABRIC INNOVATION
With a focus on utility and comfort, Eminento also produces in-house fabrics that blend tradition with technology. Many produced with vintage Japanese looms, creating materials that are durable, soft, easy to care for, with natural stretch.
