Our honeydew honey is made with the sweet secretions of insects that feed on the plants typical found in forests. Bees gather and feed on drops of honeydew left on the leaves and twigs. It is not as sweet as nectar honey and it is quite dark in color, thick and aromatic. Rich in minerals, potassium, phosphorus, enzymes and amino acids, it is recommended for athletes. Given its complex aroma, it is surprisingly good with semi-soft and semi-hard cheese, and dry, not too fatty cheeses.
