History

Native American jewelry began in the 1800s, but gained global attention in the 1970s when Hollywood stars and rock icons adopted it.

In Japan, it became key to Shibu-Kaji (Shibuya Casual) style during the late ’80s–’90s, led by the rise of Goro’s, a brand created by Goro Takahashi, trained under the tutelage of Native American artisans

Our Curation

We visited New Mexico and Arizona—where Goro’s has its roots—to handpick pieces from top Native American artists.

The collection includes works by Ernie Lister, Lyle Secatero, Sunshine Reeves, and Samantha Platero, along with rare vintage pieces from the 1930s–1950s, selected for their authenticity and timeless appeal.

Modern Styling

To the Navajo, turquoise is seen as “a piece of the sky,” symbolizing spirituality, healing, and luck.
